I am a scholar, teacher, and thinker of the Black Diaspora. I believe that the political thoughts, goals, and actions of the people across the Diaspora are central to changing the world and should be brought into conversation with one another.

I was born and raised in the Twin Cities and am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Society at the University of Minnesota.
